Passion Church
Passion Church is a church community based in Mount Pleasant that is committed to helping people practice the way of Jesus in everyday life. We exist for the people of Metro Vancouver, believing that God has called His Church to embody the good news of Jesus Christ wherever we live, work, study, and play.
Our vision is to see disciples multiplied and new church communities planted throughout Metro Vancouver, so that more people might encounter the transforming love of Jesus. We believe the Christian life is not simply something we believe, but something we practice together through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Many of us live with a scarcity mindset—the fear that there won't be enough, that we need to hold tightly to what we have, and that our security ultimately depends on us. Yet throughout Scripture, God invites His people into a different way of living: one marked by trust, surrender, and abundance.
In this five-week series, we'll explore what the Bible teaches about stewardship, generosity, and God's provision. We'll discover that everything we have ultimately belongs to God, that our resources reveal what we treasure most, and that giving is not primarily about money but about worship and trust. As we learn to place God first, release our grip on control, and participate in His mission, we'll find that His grace transforms fearful hearts into joyful, open-handed people.
What if the first thing you gave revealed more about your trust than the amount you gave? In Week 4 of From Scarcity to Abundance, we explore the biblical principle of firstfruits and discover that giving God our first is an act of worship and trust. As we examine what it means to seek God's Kingdom first, we'll see that generosity isn't about giving God what's left over—it's about surrendering our first and best to the One who faithfully provides.
